When I first put these on my wish list, they were $387. I ended up catching them on a day they dropped down to $150, and I'm glad I didn't spend any more than that. They have been quite cumbersome to put together (I don't mind a challenge, but things aren't always lining up to make sense and I still haven't finished the 4th chair because the last leg just.won't.fit.right). I am relatively intuitive when it comes to putting things together, but a few more details would have been helpful in the instructions.I love the look of the chairs, but they definitely feel a little flimsy.Overall a great buy! Here and there it creaks but it's definitely worth it!I bought these at the same time as 4 kitchen chairs that were similar style but without the arm rests. Those came with cardboard covers on the feet and a set of thick washers to go between the chair and the legs. And a page of instructions though they are hardly needed for 4 screws. This one did not come covered for protection, didn't come with the rubber washers and the screws, and the washers and locking nuts that this came with were all mismatched sizes wrapped in a piece of paper (the other ones I got came in a ziplock bag. The nuts used to hold the legs together are unfinished metal (on the other chairs they were painted black). I thought these all came from the same manufacturer, but maybe not. I used some rubber gaskets I had to create the protection between the chair and the metal leg attachment bit which solved my issue.Nice looking chair and legs, no visible defects otherwise. Besides the hardware provided, the chair quality was the same as the others.I believe the missing hardware issue that others had in these reviews is partially because the bag holding hardware (screws, etc.) isn't sealed well and opens in transport -- mine sure did. Items rolled all over the box and I wasn't able to find everything until I broke the box down and found everything (had rolled under the bottom folded flaps). There's also NO instructions, just a bunch of screws and washers and as someone who doesn't know what is typical for something like this, it was frustrating. It now feels a bit jenky because I don't think that it was done right, but will have to do. Luckily it won't get a ton of wear and tear. Outside of the assembly issues, the piece is gorgeous and provides the look I'm going for. Decent quality of everything else. The wood frame feels really sturdy and screws/pre-assembly of that is very nice. Aesthetically pleasing. Outside of the packaging and assembly, this would be a five star item.I ordered four of these chairs for the waiting area in my hair salon. They are contemporary and a very bold orange red, which is a perfect pop of color in my space. This is the lowest price I've seen this style chair available and they seem to be good quality. The bucket seat is a sturdy plastic, the legs are wood, and the supports are metal. The seat is large, comfortable, and could easily accommodate a throw pillow for extra back support and style. The only complaints I have are that they took a month to be shipped to me after ordering and one chair was missing a screw necessary for assembly.I ordered a set of two chairs to the Amazon warehouse. It was a much better deal to do it that way. It's my first time ordering through the warehouse and it was awesome. When my box arrived it was damaged but the chairs were still in perfect condition, my only problem was I was missing the bolts for one chair. A quick trip to Lowe's later and I have the bolts I needed and assembly was super easy. They look beautiful with our new kitchen table.I looooove this chair! It has a modern, clean, and comfortable style. My daughter loves it too.- I would not pay for the assembly. It was very easy to put together if you can handle 8 screws. That said, it does not come with instructions so I had to figure out which legs were front or back. After zooming on the photo on amazon, I figured it out. It took about 20 min for me alone.I paired it with the "Lifewit 40"x23" Computer Desk PC Laptop Desk, Large Study Table, Modern Simple Writing Table Burlywood Color" and the "TW Lighting IVY-40WT The IVY LED Desk Lamp".The photo on the product page is very clearly a chair with wooden legs. The title of the product page is "LexMod Wood Pyramid Armchair".But ladies and gentlemen, please, take a look at the photo of the chair that was sent to me.What kind of wood is this? Are there now metal trees growing in the forest that I don't know about? Is this some kind of hip new eco-friendly wood material? No. These legs are metal. There is only one type of wood in this photo, and it is the floor. The people deserve the truth, and I will not remain silent about these false wooden leg rumors. They're pretty good but they have marked fairly easily and I haven't come with a good way to remove the white marks. They're also a bit wobbly but I think that's user error since I wasn't great at the (admittedly simple) assembly. My dad says he can tighten them up. I love them but wish they didn't have these minor flaws. Overall great though, would buy again.Has the same (or very similar) dimensions and qualities of the Herman Miller version. Is just as comfortable (not quite the same feel as the H.M plastic or fibreglass seat, obviously) and the chair came wrapped properly with all the hardware and necessary tools to assemble. That said, the workmanship is poor - the legs needed to be adjusted where the ends meet the seat (a hammer works), and even then assembly is not a walk in the park. Hardware itself is cheap, but I suppose that's what you get when you buy a replica. The wood legs appear to be real wood, not a laminate or otherwise cheaper material.I am keeping the chair because it looks good, is comfortable, and matches my desk perfectly. If it lacked in any one of those three areas I would have sent it back, but this chair will do fine. These chairs are great for the price. The finish on the plastic seat is not smooth (very slight texture) and is not matte (more eggshell if you equate it to paint). They are not slippery either. They're perfect for my kids desks (11 & 14). Packaging was a little rough when they arrived with lose screws, etc. inside the box but everything was there and they were easily assembled. These look just like they should - or at least they would if you could actually assemble them yourself. If the purchase states that "some assembly is required" usually that provides that everything will be included. That's not the case here, as I have the seat and the legs but no hardware to put them together. I'm sure these chairs will look great once I go out and buy some screws, though. These chairs are great! They are very durable and easy to assemble and gorgeous!
